Where suggestions made collectively by the citizens of the district.

Not a town-hall meeting, nor a vote, nor an opinion poll. Randomly selected residents work together over a single weekend, with expert support, to develop an answer to one specific question.

In brief

What happens at a citizens' assembly?

We draw a few dozen residents by lot, ensuring they represent the district's population in terms of age, gender and place of residence. They receive background material on the topic, can put questions to experts, and then form a shared position together in a moderated discussion.

At the end, a written recommendation is produced, to which the decision-maker responds publicly: what will be implemented, what won't, and why not.

The 4th citizens' assembly has concluded

3–4 October 2026.
The district residents selected by draw deliberated on the district's cycling development — turning the route of the former "Burma vasút" railway line into a cycling and green corridor — comparing three design variants.
For our next assembly we invite participants from the random selection pool by stratified draw — you can register at any time.
