The community meeting held on 16–17 May 2026 addressed the future of Bókay-kert: what community, cultural, green-space, recreational and participatory role one of the district's most important shared spaces should play.

01 New topic, same method

Building on the experience of the 2nd meeting, the process continued in 2026 too — with a new topic, but the same proven methodology: participants selected by stratified draw, balanced background material and moderated deliberative debate. The 42 district residents worked in five small groups over the weekend.

The meeting in numbers

  • 16–17 May 2026 — two-day meeting
  • 42 district residents, in five small groups
  • topic: the community, cultural, green-space, recreational and participatory role of Bókay-kert
  • 26-page report on the results

02 Why Bókay-kert of all places?

Bókay-kert is one of the district's most important shared spaces — for many, a place of recreation, culture and community life. That is precisely why it is a matter where local knowledge and the residents' perspective are indispensable: whoever uses the space often sees things that are invisible from the drawing board.

03 Where can the detailed results be read?

The meeting's 26-page report, together with the background material and the methodology, is publicly available on the Research results page. As with all our processes, here too we publish what was said and what recommendations were made.
